Thai Pre-natal Care
A Three Evening Interactive Online Course
For this course we will gather over the course of three evenings in a live video discussion of pregnancy. We will unpack the anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, examine traditional Thai practices for the health and wellbeing of the pregnant mama, and of course, learn Thai herbal compress massage for pregnancy.
Each student will receive herbs for making pre-natal compresses as well as a list of some common household herbs and items they will need to procure before the final session.
Class dates: Sundays October 29th, November 5th, and November 12th

In this interactive distance learning class we will begin with an overview of the anatomy and physiology of pregnancy from modern and traditional medicine perspectives, diving from there into Thai pre-natal massage practices, understandings and traditions.
We will look at the feminine in medicine, herbal and dietary practices, and the use of hot herbal compresses in pre-natal bodywork.
