Introduction to Buddhist Medicine

With guest instructor Suklavastra Yogi.
This very special class will start you on the path of practicing Buddhist Medicine. This class differs from all other classes at The Naga Center in that the teachings are not specific to Thailand, being rooted more in Tibetan and Indian medical history.

- Overview of history, figureheads and texts of Buddhist Medicine
- Buddhist Anatomy
- Buddhist Element Theory
- Dosas
- Winds
- Illness and Therapeutics
This class is truly introductory and is open to all. Please note that there is a serious focus on Buddhism as being the guiding force in this course.
If this class is taken in conjunction with the Advanced Thai Bodywork course offered Feb. 23-24, students receive $50 off of their total registration fees.
